BMW Astra delivers its first 17 BMW iXs

The BMW Astra held a handover ceremony of the first BMW iX to 17 loyal BMW customers who had pre-ordered the BMW iX xDrive40 in Indonesia.

The BMW Astra has delivered 17 units of the first electric BMW, the BMW iX xDrive40 in Indonesia. This is in line with BMW Astra’s commitment to be the first official dealer in Indonesia to have access and facilities to handle BMW i vehicles.

BMW Astra CEO Sanfrantis Tanu said, thank you, this is the first in Indonesia, and the first electric car, the BMW iX, is the most popular.

“The first ever BMW iX which is in high demand, the queue is long and long and this is expected, we are proud to be able to deliver 17 units. We hope this event can treat customers who have been waiting for so long to be able to drive a BMW iX with all existing features,” said Tanu during the BMW iX handover at Astra Biz Center, BSD Serpong on Tuesday (21/3/2023).

BMW i workshop facilities

From an aftersales point of view, BMW Astra has also ensured the readiness of the workshops and the competence of qualified technicians not only for the maintenance of the BMW iX, but also of BMW and MINI electric vehicles in general.

“We also provide support facilities, such as BMW i special workshops in Jakarta and Surabaya. These workshops support BMW electric cars and are equipped with the fifth generation certification, so they can handle BMW electric cars reliably,” he said.

BMW Astra boss Martha Andhyka, of the BMW Astra subsidiaries, as well as the customers who will receive the BMW iX.
