Indonesian Racing ready to launch young Indonesian rider – MotoGP

JAKARTA – MP1 to establish a racing academy to produce potential young drivers.

MP1 exists as a private Indonesian company to partner with the Gresini Racing team. In this collaboration, the Indonesian Racing brand was born, a national racing school ready to launch young talents from the country.

Gresini Racing currently a team that competes in MotoGP (Aprilia), Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE. This team is quite experienced in the world of international car racing. Many big names were born from the above team, even if after a long time with Indonesian companies, there is still no name of an Indonesian racer be on this team.

Indonesian Racing exists as a bridge for talented young Indonesian racers who want to Go international. Through a multi-year partnership with Gresini Racing, they dream of presenting an independent team at the various world championships.

“With Indonesian Racing, we want to build a team capable of finding young talents in Indonesia. To get there we need time, not necessarily and everything has its steps”, said Rocky Soerapoetra, CEO of Indonesian Racing some time ago, at Jakarta.

For the 2021 racing season, Indonesian Racing will spread awareness of the brand in various world championships. The hope is that this brand can develop and become a new home for young talents from Indonesia.

“Right now we are building the platform first, strengthening the platform first, then the next is the Indonesian rider. The talents from Indonesia are amazing, so far they don’t know where they are going, so we have to make the ladder,” she explained later.
