Pertamina Lubricants trains people with disabilities in motorcycle mechanics – Workshop

SEMARANG – PT Pertamina Lubricants through Sales Region IV Semarang provides training in basic mechanical knowledge of engine and lubricant maintenance techniques to the motorcycle community with disabilities (COMPAC), as well as providing assistance in the form of company capital for lubricant packages , exhibitors and tool kits.

Semarang City Social Service Head Muthohar expressed the importance for entrepreneurs to continue to improve their skills in their fields so they can continue to compete and benefit the community.

“I really appreciate PT Pertamina Lubricants who have helped upskill people with disabilities in Semarang. This activity is in line with the government’s agenda to build an inclusive city that provides equal and equitable access and opportunities for people with disabilities,” he said.

PT Pertamina Lubricants Sales Region Manager IV Agus Supriyanto said, “This CSR activity is part of a series of programs for PT Pertamina Lubricants 7th Anniversary on September 23, 2020.”

The Compac workshop is located in Jalan Jangli Gabeng RT 08 RW 02 Jangli Village. In this simple house, Suwanto, as the manager of the workshop, carries out the modification of three-wheeled vehicles.

COMPAC President Tri Rahayu said this activity has been very positive in providing additional knowledge to the mechanics of the workshop.

“Limits are not an obstacle for us to continue learning and skills training in order to build our best potential. With the help of the knowledge and capital provided, we hope to be able to develop even better in the future. Along with Sinar Nusantara Semarang Course and Training Institute (LKP), the training provided was in the form of technical oil changes, air filter and carburetor inspection, inspection of vehicle brake and chain systems and many other aspects motorcycle technicians. [Idr]
