The all new Yamaha Aerox 155 mimics the connected characteristics of Nmax – New engine

JAKARTA – Yamaha Indonesia has launched the latest generation of Aerox 155 which has been equipped with characteristics similar to Nmax.

A part of the family Maxi-Yamaha has been revamped with a new look and new features. So as to produce a more pleasant driving sensation. The process of launching this bike itself was done virtually as it was still limited by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last generation Aerox 155 Connected follows in the footsteps of the Nmax 155 Connected. This scooter-type sports motorcycle is equipped with the Y-Connect function, so it can be connected to the vehicle owner’s smartphone via Bluetooth.

This feature allows the driver to get vehicle information such as phone notifications, including incoming calls and messages. In addition, consumers can also monitor fuel consumption information, last parked position and routine maintenance recommendations on the motorcycle’s instrument cluster.

Besides that, the Y-Connect application also has a Leaderboard feature which is fun for internal consumers enjoy their driving activities, because they can compete with other users CCU models (Yamaha motorcycles equipped with the Y-Connect function) in terms of mileage and eco points ride.

The all-new Aerox 155 Connected carries a total of new Blue Core 155 engines cc liquid-cooled, featuring Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology that creates torque evenly during each rotation of the engine. This machine is the same asset as another Maxi Yamaha member, namely the Nmax 155.

The all new Aerox 155 Connected engine is also equipped with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG), so that engine starter becomes smooth. This bike is also packed with features Stop and Start System (SSS) which works to reduce fuel consumption unnecessary fuel when the engine is stopped.

From the design sector, the engine has Sports DNA This brings the concept of full fairing. This can be seen on both sides of the vehicle which emphasizes the aerodynamic factor. The lights of the latest generation of Aerox 155 Connected adopted LED and added DRL in front.
