The latest CBR250RR model launched by AHM is now ready to be exported to three Asian countries.
Autos.id – After PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) launched the new CBR250RR on Monday (19/9/2022), the company is ready to make its next breakthrough.
It was previously known that the first 250cc CBR250RR model was launched in July 2016 and produced locally in November of the same year.
And for this new CBR250RR, AHM wants to explore the export market by sending the unit to several countries on the Asian continent. In an official statement at the launch of the new CBR250RR, Tetsuya Komine, as Marketing Director of PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), explained that Malaysia and Thailand were the export targets for the sports bike with CBU status.
In addition to the Southeast Asian region, he also explained that the components of the new CBR250RR produced in Karawang, West Java, will be sent to the Kumamoto plant for the Japanese market.
PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Marketing Director also pointed out that the new CBR250RR is ready to be exported to other countries if permitted. In addition, this motor sport has become the basis for motor racing in the Asia Road Racing Championship in the Asia Production 250cc class (AP250).
But for now, the focus of sales of the new CBR250RR is still in the Asian region and around 2500 units have been prepared for the domestic stock.

Mentioned by the official PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) website, the new variants and prices of the CBR250RR are as follows:
- SP variant (Mystique Blue): Rp.75.150.000 – OTR Jakarta.
- SP variant – Quick change (Bravery Red Black, Honda Racing Red and Tri Color): Rp79.200.000 – OTR Jakarta.
- Standard variants (Black Freedom and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic): IDR 62.850.000 – OTR Jakarta.
