The capital portfolio of the fallen cryptocurrency quantitative trading company Alameda Capital was recently published by the Financial Times, revealing interesting investments.
According to the spreadsheet, there are nearly 500 illiquid investments spread across ten holding companies in FTX/Alameda’s $5.4 billion portfolio.
Two of the biggest investments were the $1.15 billion investment from cryptocurrency mining company Genesis Digital and Open AI founded Anthropic’s $500 million investment. Crypto influencer Wu Blockchain thinks the investments were “ridiculous”. “

Investments in Sequoia and Skybridge
A $200 million investment in Sequoia, the venture capital firm that FTX Zeroed Earlieris also part of the assets of the commercial company that has been forfeited.
Additionally, the Alameda document lists a $45 million investment in Anthony Scaramucci’s SkyBridge Capital. According to the spreadsheet, FTX transferred 30% of its stake in SkyBridge to Alameda to protect investors’ assets. Later, its founder Anthony Scaramucci revealed that SkyBridge had lost money on its FTT token holdings from FTX.
Additionally, the wallet revealed the largest token investments in the form of HOLE – $67.5m, Polygon – $50m, NEAR (FTX) – $50m, Port Finance – $33.5m and NEAR (Alameda) – $30 million.
Last month, FTX announcement filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy with sister entity Alameda Research and about 130 other FTX-related companies.
However, an Arkham Intelligence analysis on Nov. 25 revealed that Alameda Research withdrew more than $200 million from FTX.US before the company filed for bankruptcy. In addition, Arkham revealed in a Twitter feed that Alameda Research, the sister company of FTX, had raised $204 million from FTX US in the last few days before various crypto assets collapsed.
