Jakarta, Autos.id – The Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) will return from 2 to 6 November 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta. At this event, the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (AISI) will showcase the latest technologies and products, including eco-friendly motorcycles and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).

This step is a form of AISI support for government efforts in sustainable energy use and development of the battery electric motor vehicle (KBLBB) industrial ecosystem.

AISI chairman Johannes Loman said that motorcycle industry associations and actors in the country are currently in the process of stimulating their ability to provide environmentally friendly technology vehicles, including battery electric vehicles.

“This year’s IMOS will be an event to show the public the products and technologies that have been produced. AISI members and IMOS 2022 attendees will present the latest products and technologies for electric motorcycles, as well as provide information and training to all visitors, “said Johannes.

Technological education program

In addition to showcasing the latest products, technology and innovations of the two-wheeled motor vehicle industry, IMOS always prioritizes education for motorists. Sigit Kumala, Head of Commercial Division of AISI and Head of IMOS Organizer, said ecological technology and motorcycles with electric technology will be the main attraction at this year’s IMOS event.

“AISI members and other motorcycle participants will present motorcycles with the latest technologies that are increasingly environmentally friendly, including electric vehicles. Various trainings on the technology will be provided, emphasizing the safety and comfort of motorcyclists, “said Sigit.

AISI will present various programs to provide knowledge and instill public understanding about electric motorcycles. To continue consistency in providing riding safety education, IMOS will hold a driving skills and safety course, followed by a test ride program to provide hands-on experience with the latest motorcycles. IMOS 2022 will also broaden visitor horizons through various workshops, community riding and other programs.

A total of 14 AISI member motorcycle brands will be present at IMOS 2022 such as PT Astra Honda Motor, PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, as well as many other motorcycle brands, such as Benelli, Keeway, Italjet , Davigo and Royal Alloy, as well as Energica, ION Mobility, NIU, Polytron, Treeletrik, while the Smartby EV Center will exhibit U-Winfly, Volta, ECGO, BF Goodrich, Sunrace, Bravo, Goda and I Moto.

The line of brands will carry a variety of two-wheeled products, including electric motorcycles. In addition, various support sectors such as tires, spare parts, engine lubricants, accessories such as helmets and clothing and various other support driving equipment will also animate the IMOS 2022 event.

IMOS 2022 will also distribute the AISI member motorcycle prizes to IMOS visitors from 2 to 6 November 2022, including 3 motorcycles that have been modified by modifiers.
