Changed official license plate, from RF to ZZ prefix

ROCKMOTIVE, Jakarta – Traffic Police Corps (Traffic Police Corps) has issued new provisions on the use of official license plates. This is because there are many ordinary passenger cars that use this secret number often.

Initially, the code given by the police for the car used the last letter RF. However, they have now made changes and use a new code i.e. ZZ.

“For the special number in front of the Z, so you use the RF after that, if it’s 11 months and above, it’s fake,” Korlantas Polri director Brigadier General Yusri Yunus told reporters about the official plate number. which was just reported by Liputan6.

Again according to him, with these new provisions, therefore RF code which was originally used will no longer be valid in November 2023. In this way, when there are still cars or vehicles with that code in the field, it is certain that the plates are fake, i.e. swollen.

Furthermore, he also explained where the official license plate on the front had changed, while on the back it still carried the old code.

Previously, if Polri Institution officials used RFP, now it would be changed to ZZP, while for Indonesian Army, originally from RFD, it would be changed to ZZD.

“I already said at the time that the official plates could only be Echelon I, Echelon II, this too was socialized. I will put things in order starting from 10 of 2022, it is no longer permissible that Polda-Polda, or in this case Ditlantas, issue special numbers or secret numbers,” he added.
