Jakarta, Autos.id – In 2022 Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show (GIIAS) which took place at ICE BSD, Tangerang, then, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) officially launched the New Xpander Cross 2022. The new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is here with a number of updates and now has a more aggressive look.

“The launch of the New Xpander Cross is one of the exciting activities we have been waiting for, we are ready to pamper customers with new products featuring so many enhancements,” said PT MMKSI CEO Naoya Nakamura on the sidelines of the launch.

So what are the differences between New Xpander Cross 2022 and Xpander Cross 2021, see the following explanation:

1. Ground clearance

In this 2022 Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, the first difference is that the ground clearance given to the latest version is 20 to 25mm higher, depending on the version used.

This is because there is an update on the suspension and the use of larger wheels of 1 inch or 17 inches over the old version.

2. Exterior design

External upgrades, the front bumper is also locked with a new design with a three-dimensional skid protection pattern with T-shaped headlight, powerful front and rear bumper design, 17-inch alloy wheel design, LED fog lights, trapezoidal grille distinctive and updated Wheel arch molding.

3. Interior

On the inside, the New Xpander Cross offers luxury and comfort on the inside. One of the most notable changes is the addition of features such as a wireless charger, a new 8-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel design.

This car has also been equipped with Micron Air Filtration which maintains the circulation of air quality in the passenger compartment and increases the comfort of all family members.

4. Enhanced security features

In terms of safety features, the New Xpander Cross is more complete with the integrated AYC (Active Yaw Control) braking system, which improves cornering performance by adjusting the braking force on the front wheels to optimize vehicle stability during fast maneuvers or on slippery roads.

Existing features are combined with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Active Stability Control (ASC), this system supports safety, protection and driving comfort in various weather and road conditions.

In terms of safety features, the New Xpander Cross is more comprehensive with the integrated AYC braking system, which works to adjust the braking force on the front wheels to optimize the car’s stability during quick maneuvers. This feature not only helps you to maneuver safely on dry roads, it also works on wet and slippery roads. The AYC function on the Xpander Cross Facelift 2022 has an indicator displayed on the Multi Information Display (MID) screen.

The new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is available in two variants of the CVT Premium package and the manual gearbox and is priced at Rs.309.9 million.
