PT Astra Daihatsu Motor has launched a web series to animate the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2022.

Autos.id – By participating in the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022 to be held from 11 to 21 August 2022, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) has made a unique breakthrough. The turning point in question is PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) which will launch a web series entitled “Mulih” on August 16, 2022 at Daihatsu Booth hall 5A GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show).

The goal itself is to be closer to the Indonesian people, especially for the youth lifestyle. This is also a form of program support with the Daihatsu Sahabatku slogan.

The web series “Mulih” is a family drama genre that tells the story of a boy who returns to his hometown after graduating from college and wants to meet his father. However, when they met, there was a conflict between the two, in which the father wanted his son to live in the village, while the son wanted a career in Jakarta.

With this web series, Daihatsu wants to show that family is a priority for the Indonesian people above all else, and is in line with Daihatsu’s vision of always wanting to be there to support and meet the needs of families in Indonesia.

Based on information from the official Daihatsu Indonesia release, the web series is a collaboration with director Imam Darto and stars Chicco Kurniawan, the best actor with the 2021 Citra Cup award, Rukman Rosadi, Agatha Pricilla and Dimas Zaenal.

The ‘Mulih’ web series has four episodes that can be watched every week starting August 23, 2022 on the Daihatsu Sahabatku Youtube channel.

Previously, Daihatsu also launched a web series of comic and romantic genres for young people, namely “P3U (Going Morning Pulang Untung) Reborn” from 2017 to 2019 for three seasons; then an anime series for children and families through “The Adventures of Didi and Hatsu” in 2020; and the web series “Movement”, a romantic drama genre that tells the story of a couple’s love journey.

“Daihatsu continues to try to get closer to the entire community, one of which is the launch of the Mulih web series as a tangible manifestation of support for the film industry in Indonesia. We hope this web series will provide entertainment for families and young people in Indonesia, as well as being a positive inspiration for loyal viewers, ”said Rudy Ardiman, head of domestic marketing at PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM).
