First held in Semarang, GIIAS Semarang 2022 Auto Show has the longest test drive area in the entire GIIAS The Series 2022 exhibition.

GIIAS Semarang 2022 This is the first time the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series automotive event is held in Semarang city. From November 23 to 27, this exhibit will be held at the Marina Convention Center.

First time in Semarang

GIIAS The Series is part of the GIIAS Automotive Exhibition which was earlier opened last August in Jakarta. After visiting Surabaya and Medan, this time GIIAS can be enjoyed by automobile enthusiasts in Semarang.

GIIAS Semarang will be held from 23 to 27 November

The selection of Semarang is not without reason. Central Java currently ranks 4th in Indonesia’s Domestic Sales Growth for 2018-2021 as explained by Kukuh Kumara as Gaikindo General Secretary.

“We are sure that GIIAS Semarang will become an important agenda for the Indonesian auto industry in the future, to introduce new models and technologies from the latest vehicles, just like organizing other GIIAS series,” said Kukuh in his official statement.

The longest test drive area

Just like other GIIAS events, visitors can enjoy a variety of the latest automotive technologies and products. Starting from electric vehicles to accessories and other supporting industries. 9 automobile brands and 6 motorcycle brands are ready to introduce their new products in the Indonesian automobile market.

Visitors can try out the models on display through the Test Drive and Test Ride programmes. The GIIAS Semarang 2022 test drive track also reaches 2 kilometers, extending from the Marina Convention Center to Jalan Marina Raya, which is the longest test drive area in the GIIAS 2022 series.

This is the first time GIIAS is held in Semarang

With the event open from 11.00 WIB to 21.00 WIB, various other programs can also be found. Like Meet and Greet with the automotive community and national influencers, music corners and outdoor areas filled with various culinary choices.

You can get GIIAS Semarang 2022 tickets for IDR 15,000 on weekdays and IDR 20,000 on weekends. However, GIIAS pre-sale tickets available from 14th to 21st November are available at IDR 10,000 (weekdays) and IDR 15,000 (weekends).
