IMOS visitors can take a closer look at the electric motor Honda PCX electric, Honda Benly e: and Honda Gyro e :, including a Honda Mobile Power Pack battery change station.
The plan is that AHM will market a range of electric vehicles as part of Honda e: Technology in the form of Honda electric mopeds and electric motorcycles until 2030 for motorcycle lovers in Indonesia.
After launching the PCX Electric in 2019, AHM will continue introducing another Honda electric motorcycle next year with 2 models. This effort will continue in 2024 up to 2 models and will continue until 2030 by relaunching 3 other electric motorcycle models.
The products for electric motorcycles that will be marketed by AHM have the ability to recharge directly via electricity (direct charging) or by exchanging batteries (replacement batteries).
The electric vehicles to be presented by AHM in Indonesia are expected to meet the needs and expectations of consumers, so that AHM aims to sell 1 million electric motorcycles by 2030 within one year.
This goal will continue to grow in line with market trends and public acceptance of the presence of pure battery powered Honda motorcycles in Indonesia.
AHM President Director Keiichi Yasuda said the launch of 7 Honda electric vehicles in the form of electric mopeds and electric motorcycles was carried out in stages until 2030 with a sales target of 1 million units per year.
This non-polluting Honda motorcycle has been developed with priority on high quality and durable products such as Honda motorcycle products which have so far been trusted by the public.
“We want to continue to provide Honda consumers with driving pleasure, through electric motors. In line with this commitment, we will also complement it by making new investments to create a production line in Indonesia, gradually increasing the local content of components in our electric motorcycles. including the battery exchange infrastructure, “Yasuda said.
IMOS visitors can also see more than 27 units of Honda motorcycles with various riding characters. Especially for visitors to IMOS 2022, AHM also brought the CRF250R, which is the pride of Indonesian crosser racer Delvintor Alfarizi in the MXGP event, to a replica of the racing bike mounted by world rider Marc Marquez, the Honda RC213V-S .
