JAKARTA – Availability of Pertamina BBM (fuel oil) and LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) in Jakarta, Banten and West Java is secure as long as DKI Jakarta returns to addressing PSBB (large scale social restrictions) effective 14 September 2020.

In fact, most of Pertamina’s petrol stations will continue to operate around the clock to cater to consumer needs during the PSBB.

“Pertamina’s operations, both upstream and downstream, will continue. We ensure that distribution continues as normal and that stocks of fuel, LPG and other Pertamina products are in a safe condition,” explained Eko Kristiawan, Unit Manager Communication Relations and CSR MOR III.

MOR (Marketing Operation Region) III is a downstream business unit which carries out Pertamina fuel and LPG marketing in West Java, i.e. DKI Jakarta, Banten and West Java provinces. In this area, Pertamina has more than 1,500 petrol stations scattered, as well as 38 Pertashops in remote sub-districts and LPG agents and bases.

Pertamina has implemented a series of Covid-19 prevention protocols at service stations, both for two-wheeler and four-wheeler consumers. Those going to petrol stations and Bright Stores are required to comply with the COVID-19 protocol by wearing masks, washing their hands in the facilities provided after making transactions. Pertamina also provides electronic payment services for cashless transactions. [Idr]
