The difference between the 125D Charisma and the X 125 is quite a lot, even if the engine itself is no different
Autos.id – The Karisma 125D with the same X 125 is here to deliver a new model with a bigger engine than its closest rival, the Yamaha Jupiter Z. Since the Karisma itself is different from other bikes, many people automatically like it . However, when this bike first appeared, there were two choices, namely drum and disc brakes.
The reason is that this bike came out when the era of automatic bikes was not yet glorious, in fact it was the forerunner of a 125 cc Honda bike. In reality, at that time there were still many manufacturers playing with 100cc displacements – only 110cc.
For this reason, the entry of Karisma itself gave a new color and maximum effort for the introduction of 125cc engine products to the Indonesian public at that time. The presence of the first moped is in two models. Namely, Carisma 125 and Carisma 125D.
Then it comes back with the name Karisma X 125D. So what is the difference between the two engines?
Karisma 125 More fat
Speaking of the early Karisma models, indeed the body itself is fatter than other mopeds. Furthermore, two separate variants are available. Namely 125 with drum brakes and 125D for the variant with front disc brakes.
This model itself is unique in its time. Starting from the speedometer, it uses a digital model, so the trunk of the Karisma 125D itself is larger and can fit into a helmet in its time. Things like this can happen because there are so many updates that have never been adopted before.
Meanwhile, the Karisma X 125D itself has a slimmer body and smaller midsection due to the slimmer body. However, the advantage of the Karisma X itself is that the body is slimmer, so it is more comfortable to maneuver.
Not to mention the chain guard from the previous Karisma which is missing in this generation. So it looks more sporty and masculine, doesn’t it? However, for the X variant itself, its deployment period is not as long as the Karisma 125D or 125 model itself. In fact, the distribution of this model immediately changed with the latest Supra X 125.

How about the engine itself for the Charisma series?
As for the engine itself, actually the Karisma 125 and X 125 themselves still use a 125cc carburettor engine base with DC CDI and an engine output of 9.3 HP and 10.1 Nm of torque. This car is considered a rhino until now. Never picky, even the spare parts are all abundant.
