ROCKMOTIVE, Jakarta – This year, the Mitsubishi Colt L300, which is the mainstay of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI extension) will again be produced in their factories in Indonesia.

PT MMKSI’s new managing director, Atsushi Kurita, said the news that the Mitsubishi Colt L300 would again be produced in Indonesia was true.

This will give flexibility to the company, where it will no longer be dependent on import quotas, so that consumer demand can be met immediately by producing these models in Indonesia.
“Mitsubishi Colt L300 is currently manufacturing in the Philippines, because our current concentration is passenger car which is more on the rise. And we have also been in discussions with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation to produce this model to go back to Indonesia,” said Atsushi Kurita.
The latest generation, launched in Indonesia itself, was launched by MMKSI in July 2022. At that time, this model was launched with CBU or Complete Built Up status where this product was imported as a whole from Philippines.
When it was launched in 2022, the Mitsubishi Colt L300 underwent many changes from the outside and inside. Its appearance has been made even more high-quality by the presence of a more solid front grille.

In terms of packaged sales portion, in the MMKSI report in 2022, the sales of this model are able to have 50% market share and have contributed positively by providing 10.2% share of MMKSI’s domestic sales.
