Between Cities-Inter Provinces

The journey simulation is done in stages with various road conditions. Ranging from inter-city travel to inter-island travel, which is often encountered by commercial vehicles on duty.

The whole trip simulation was done with a configuration of 2 passengers and around 200-500kg of luggage. All of these trips are made with a fully charged battery and without recharging the battery during the trip.

The first simulation was done by making a trip from Jakarta-Bandung in March 2023 with a total distance of 185km. Carrying 2 passengers and 500kg of baggage, DFSK Gelora requires on average 60% battery power or the equivalent of IDR 42,000.

The simulation then continues in April 2023 with the Parapat route to Medan (North Sumatra) or about 168.5 KM. DFSK Gelora E carries 2 passengers with 500 kg of luggage and the best result is 38 percent battery charge and converts to rupees at IDR 27,132.

DFSK Gelora E’s journey from Bandar Lampung to Jakarta in May 2023 was also no less challenging with a distance of around 223 KM and carrying 2 passengers and 400 kg of luggage. Again, DFSK Gelora E requires only 72 percent battery power or costs IDR 51,400.

Cikande Local production

All Gelora E used are produced by Cikande, Serang, Banten factory, which has adopted various latest and modern manufacturing technology so as to meet the state of Industry 4.0. Overall, the DFSK plant is able to produce 50,000 units a year thanks to the support of robotic technology and qualified human resources (HR). The robotic technology brought from the DFSK factory has reached 90 percent of the production process.

The Gelora E battery uses lithium-ion technology with a capacity of 42 kWh, and is capable of supplying energy for 300 km.

Charging doesn’t take long thanks to fast-charge support, so charging 20-80 percent takes just 80 minutes. It has also been ensured that the quality of the battery is maintained because it has passed the test conducted by DFSK. Gelora E is also supported by high energy efficiency and is able to reduce operating costs incurred by the use of vehicles.

Consumers have to pay only Rp. 200 per kilometre, or the equivalent of 1/3 of the operating costs of conventional commercial vehicles.
In addition, commercial car consumers need not worry about battery safety during vehicle ownership. DFSK explained that Gelora E has adopted protections such as insulation protection, high voltage protection, dust and water resistance (up to IP67 standard), and strict battery protection system for battery safety under extreme conditions .

Gelora E which has dimensions of 4,500mm x 1,680mm x 2,000mm (LxWxH) providing an extra roomy and spacious cabin, combined with reliable driving capabilities. This functional vehicle is offered in 2 variants namely Minibus and Blind Van which can be selected according to the business needs of the consumers in Indonesia.

The Minibus model has a capacity of 7 passengers and is suitable for use as a public transport vehicle, travel, shuttle vehicle, employee shuttle and also supports the tourism sector. So for the Blind Tire model it is supported by a cab length of up to 2.63m and a cargo area of ​​up to 5m3 and is suitable for the needs of logistics, catering, cargo transportation and various other industries.
