As reported by Carbuzz, an Idaho National Laboratory scientist Dr. Eric Dufek, who is also a member of the America Chemical Society, said charging using artificial intelligence is the latest innovation compared to charging electric cars. He said the claim that charging an electric car with AI takes only 10 minutes.
Dr. Erik Dufek said that charging using AI, in addition to charging electric cars, can also be used to analyze daily electric car charging data. “In using this artificial intelligence, it will include various information such as the condition of the lithium-ion battery and the charging cycle and its daily use,” said Dr. Erik Dufek.
He also said that although the claim that charging an electric car using artificial intelligence only takes 10 minutes, it guarantees that it won’t damage the lithium-ion battery. This happens because the way the AI works while charging will also see the real condition of the car battery. And from the analysis that will optimize the charging process of electric cars and maintain the life of electric cars.
Hence, the AI method of electric car charging that is presented will maximize the electric car charging process with theoretical physics that maximizes the charging time up to 10 minutes. Even so, the use of AI for charging electric cars is still under development and will not be used in the near future.
Dr Eric Dufec said the ACS team of scientists were looking into other developments to increase cellular energy and further optimize the use of AI for charging electric cars. “We continue to go down this path and see how the use of this technology can have a more positive impact, especially when charging electric cars,” he concluded.
